Your direct deposit payroll will be categorized into Software/Apps if it was mapped under this account in your Payroll settings, poshdesign.

To ensure they are accurately mapped to their correct account, please follow the steps below:

  1. In your QuickBooks account, click the Gear icon and select Payroll Settings.
  2. Scroll down and click the pencil icon in the Accounting tab.
  3. On the Accounting Preferences page, ensure that each payroll section is mapped correctly. To make edits, click the pencil icon in the Chart of Accounts column.
  4. Once everything is properly mapped, go to the Update Transactions section, select the date range to reclassify your payroll transactions.
  5. Once done, click Save and Done.
