Question

Write Checks

A few weeks ago my Write Checks screen stopped updating the register balance after the check is saved. It continues to show the balance before the check was written. If you exit out of the screen and go back, the balance is updated. If you change to another bank account and go back, the screen is also updated. Why is it not updating the balance as soon as the check as saved as it used to do? QBOL is a POC.

When saving a write check in QuickBooks, the balance does not update automatically because the bank balance relies on feeds and processing delays. This requires a manual refresh from the page to view the updated balance.

That is the most absurd non-response I have ever heard (or read). It would be nice if a real accountant would respond. As I previously stated, QBOL is a POC.
