Hi there, roundhillproduct.

I understand how important it is to get your copy of the 1099.

We actually don't hold any 1099 copies and request any contact information in return. Normally, your employer or client uses their QuickBooks Online account to send you an invitation to complete or update your Form W-9. Once your employer or client receives your W-9 info and submits your 1099 to the IRS, you should be able to download your 1099.

You will then receive an email notification once it is ready for download. Simply click the link in the email to sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Like this:

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  2. Go to the Clients menu.
  3. Select the Forms tab.

Also, keep in mind that it's your employer or client's responsibility to provide you with your 1099. If you don't want to create a QuickBooks Self-Employed account, reach out to them to get a copy.

If you need more information about this process, you can refer to this link: Fill out a W-9 and view your 1099-MISC in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Leave a comment below if you have any additional questions or concerns regarding 1099. I'm always here to help. Have a great day!
