can we do our own financial report template instead of the standard ones given?

Yes, Sherlene, you can absolutely create a personalized financial report tailored to your specific needs using QuickBooks Online (QBO) Advanced. All you have to do is click the Create new report button, and you’ll have complete control over building or modifying your report. Let me help out by giving you all the details.

 

We can utilize the report creation wizard to build your reports, or manually add data columns to design the information you want to display. Alternatively, select a report type and customize the selections to fit your reporting needs.

 

  1. Hit the Create new report button in the Reports page.
  2. Decide whether you want to start from Blank or Select a report type that best matches your desired layout. Then, Create 

  3. If starting from scratch, pick Start by report creation wizard to search for specific report types and categories. Or, Start by adding data columns to manually include, remove, again and rearrange data columns of your report.
  4. Once your details are in place, organize the layout to match the way you'd like the information displayed.
  5. Select Save As, then Save.
