Question

"Action required: Confirm your EFT account information" emails. I didn't make any changes to my account, and received 5 of these emails, is this legitimate?

Our Intuit official email will always come from an email address that ends with @intuit.com or @e.intuit.com, Judge.

Here are a few tips for recognizing authentic Intuit correspondence and protecting yourself against potential fraud:

  • Intuit emails typically follow a professional format, using clear language and providing legitimate contact information. Intuit doesn't request sensitive information directly through email.
  • Always verify that the email is sent from an official email address. Refer to this page for the official Intuit emails: Identify suspicious activity, phishing scams, and potential fraud.
  • Ensure that any link from an Intuit email takes you to a web address starting with 'https://' and includes 'intuit.com' as part of the URL.

If an email seems suspicious, do not click on any links or download attachments. Instead, forward the email to the Online Security Center for analysis and confirmation of authenticity.

We can visit this article for guidance on how to record EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) transactions: Record a bill payment by EFT, ATM card, or debit card.

Additionally, I suggest considering our QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted service to enhance your QBO experience. Our expert team is ready to provide immediate support tailored to your business's unique needs.
