Question

Can I have two bank accounts for payments? Operating account for broker fees and my premium trust account. If not, how can I change my deposit account for payments?

Hi, @spencer19.

QuickBooks currently allows only one default deposit account per merchant.

However, you can change the deposit account as needed. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under Your Company, click on Account and Settings.
  3. Select Payments.
  4. Scroll down to Deposit accounts.
  5. Click the Change button to update your deposit account.
  6. Confirm once done.
  7. To finalize the change to the deposit account, click Done.

QuickBooks will start depositing customer payments from online invoices and other sources into the new account.
