Hello there, mkreed6019.

To better assist you, could you please clarify if by adding cash to your QuickBooks account, you mean depositing cash through your QuickBooks Checking account? Understanding exactly how you're adding cash will help us provide the best solution.

In the meantime, here are some possible reasons why the ACH option might not be available:

  • Deposit limits for inbound transfers (ACH deposits) into your QuickBooks Checking account via QBO or the mobile app. The current limits are up to $20,000 per day and $40,000 per 7 days.
  • Unverified or Unlinked Bank Account: Ensure the external bank account you are attempting to transfer from is properly linked and fully verified for ACH transfers.
  • Sometimes, there may be temporary restrictions or holds on your QuickBooks Checking account that can disable certain features, including ACH transfers. Please log in to your account and check for any notifications or alerts explaining a restriction.
