Question

Process of selling item I do not have in my possession

I have a business in which I sell home goods like decor and furniture.  I do not have the items in my inventory. When the client orders, I invoice the client... they pay me directly through their credit card. I then proceed to buy the "product" with my cc and have it sent directly to them. In this case, no purchase order was needed. But I can use the estimate form.

What chart of accounts do I set up for the product and how?

How do I account for all of these procedures in QB?

Is the item COG? Expense?
