Yesterday, I changed an employees pay setup from 20hrs a week to timesheet based, however I forgot to turn off an automated payment schedule. Today the original amount was deposited but payrun showing 0 hour 0 dollars? I've tried going back to the old settings and recalculating the payrun still showing 0 hours 0 dollars

To resolve the mismatch, you need to turn off the automated pay schedule, open the incorrect pay run to update the employee's earnings lines, and then finalise the pay run.

Here’s how to stop automation of a pay schedule:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, choose Payroll settings, then click Pay Schedules located under Pay Run Settings.
  2. Select the automated pay schedule you wish to turn off, then on the Pay Run Automation section, tick the Stop button.
  3. Click Delete when prompted. This removes only the automation trigger, your pay schedule and assigned employees remain active.

Here’s how to update the $0 pay run:

  1. Go to All apps, click Payroll, select Pay runs, and open the $0 pay run.
  2. On the Pay Run Actions dropdown, tick Unlock if finalised.
  3. Click the employee's name, then enter the correct hours and rate that match the bank deposit.
  4. Once done, click Finalise Pay Run and agree to the terms, then select Finalise to complete the process.
