I can think of three suggestions for you, gvpropertymainte.

 

First, let's check if there's an available updates for your device. This can be the reason why the fingerprint option don't work. Once updated, go back to your QuickBook account and check to see if you can now use the option.

 

Second, if QuickBooks can't authenticate your fingerprint, sign in with your username and password. Then, try setting up the Touch ID again.

 

Lastly, if the same thing, let's reconfigure your fingerprint by going to your devices' settings. We'll need to delete the recognized fingerprint and then set it up again.
