How do I show industry allowance on the payslips withour the total hours increasing?

I want to show the industry allowance on payslips but I don't want the hours to add to the total hours worked.  How do I do that?

Hi jackiegriffiths,

 

Thanks for posting in the Community!

 

If the employee is using an awards, we'll have to check the pay category used and make sure to set Units to Fixed so that the industry allowance does not add to the total hours worked.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Click on the Employees tab.
  2. Click on the Payroll Settings.
  3. Click on Pay Categories.
  4. Locate the pay category and click on them, under UNITS field it should be set to Fixed to not add the figures to the total hours worked.
  5. Click on Save.

 

Then, check the pay run click on Actions, and click Recalculate. Now let's view the pay slips once more to see the changes made.
