There are two ways to prevent the casual employee from accruing leave:

Before we start, please check if your casual employee has no leave allowance template used under leave allowance.

You can simply change the leave allowance template to casual leave. To change the leave allowance template:

  1. Click on employee tab.
  2. Click on employee name.
  3. Click on leave allowance from the menu.
  4. Under Apply the following Leave Allowances Template, select Casual leave.

If you wish to keep the same "no leave allowance template":

  1. Click on employee tab.
  2. Click on employee name.
  3. Click on leave allowance from the menu
  4. Under Apply the following Leave Allowances Template, select No leave allowance template.
  5. Select the leave and remove the units and turn off the can apply leave option.
  6. Click save.
