You can add the ABN contractor to QuickBooks Online Payroll and use Beam to automate super contributions. However, automation is only possible if the contractor is set up in payroll and their superannuation is processed through a pay run.

To pay super via Beam, the super amount must flow through a pay run.

Here's how:

1. Set up the contractor in QuickBooks Online Payroll.
2. Add the contractor under Payroll.
3. Go to Payroll Settings and click Contractor management.
