Yes, you can make a batch payment through the integrated clearing house in QuickBooks Online Payroll. Under the new Payday Super rules, employers have seven business days from receipt of a returned fund notification to rectify issues and resubmit the payment.

Before doing so, please note that a refund means the super fund rejected the transaction, typically due to closed accounts or invalid member numbers. You might consider cross-referencing their Unique Superannuation Identifier (USI) and member number against a new Superannuation Standard Choice Form.

Once you have verified those details, follow these steps to create a super payment batch:

  1. Navigate to the Reports section and select Standard reports.
  2. Select Super Payments under Payroll.
  3. Click New Super Payment Batch, then select the appropriate filters.
  4. Select Create Batch and click Submit.
  5. Choose your Payment Method to finish.
