Payroll error: "Uh oh, there’s a connection problem. Sorry, but undefined didn’t connect. Please try again later, or contact customer support for help."

Access to the Payroll tab depends on your role. If you're not an admin, please contact your employer or the QuickBooks Online (QBO) account owner to request a change in your role that will grant you access.

Also, you could try opening an incognito window to start fresh without old cache or cookies that may be causing problems, or just switch over to a different browser or device.
