Payroll is returning 504 errors across multiple users and accounts. Employees are also affected. Can someone fix this?

A 504 error code indicates that a server is taking too long to respond. This is often caused by server overloads, network delays, or intermittent connectivity issues. These interruptions can prevent your payroll request from processing successfully.

 

To resolve this, you can start by signing in to your QuickBooks Online account using a different web browser. If the error disappears, consider clearing your browser's cache. This action will help you clear any extensions and prevent the cache from storing your search history.

 

If the issue persists, you'll have to contact our Live Support team to schedule a real-time remote session. During this process, please ensure to mention that multiple users are experiencing this issue so they can conduct a thorough investigation and prioritise a direct fix.
