Thanks for reaching out about your customers. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you keep track of invoices and payments so you know the balance owed by customers. I can provide some information about exporting customers.
You can export the list of customers by going to the Sales section, then Customers. Click the export icon (which looks like a page with an outgoing arrow) to the right of the print button at the top of the list. If there is an error, one possible cause would be browsing data. These temporary files can accumulate in your browser, system and network and cause errors like the one you're seeing in any cloud-based program like QuickBooks Online. You can resolve errors caused by browsing data using these steps:
Hi Alex, thank you for your response. When I couldn't get it to download yesterday, the first thing I tried was to clear my cache. That didn't work. I also thought, perhaps, when I log back in today it should work but it was not found. I ended up going to reports and running a report to get what I needed. It wasn't ideal but for the purpose I needed it, it was doable.
