Hello how do I add GST to my invoices?
Transactions by date range are not working now in QB
I have some custom reports and shared them with "All". The reprts show "All" under shared - but does not allow this to be changed or deleted and re-done. The article about sharing reports specifically states that it will be shared with all current users but not new users in the future. So how do I share these reports with new users who have joined and need to take over the function using these reports?
Ideally I'd like it resolved over email as I don't have time to sit on phone or chat with QB support.
I need to change the name of some of my expense categories to better represent the expenses. For example I have 3 separate categories forseedsplantsseedlingsI would like to just have one category named seed plants seedlings.Thank you
Been struggling with this for years. In order to do a job I take a 50% deposit. In order to take a 50% deposit I need to write an invoice. After writing the to invoice. I normally have to manually edit the PDF becausr qbo does not believe people do deposits on invoices. Now the next problem is adding a credit card surcharge. There just is no way to add a surcharge for 50% of an invoice. It's a complete right mess.
Employee has changed super funds and the original fund does not allow me to delete it. The circled X next to it is greyed out.
Can I use a journal entry to clear a small balance in a unused account ,for example payroll clearing has a balance of $25 ,never needed this account ,incorrectly categorised at some stage ,can I fix with journal entry ,and adjust pand l account ,or do I need to find the date of this incorrect transaction and recategorize it .to correct account,
A single line addon is beyond useless. If there is no way of being able to change the "ship to" then at a bare minimum give us a custom addon where we can actually place a full address. This is the worst I have ever seen in any accounting program, it is not even an issue in your own desktop version. Yet you are pushing everyone to come online.
Could I change the Employee leave year to be a standard yearly date for all staff (rather than employee start date) so all existing staff receive their accruals upfront on a set date? Or could I create a new Personal/Sick leave Accrued in Advance category based on employee start date and just move staff over to that new category on their anniversary dates?
I have several.non existence accounts that have balances but they should.be zero ,most likely incorrectly categorised at some stage ,is there a journal entry I can do write it of to profit and loss ,or do I have to find the date of this transaction the balance is under $50 can it be done with a journal entry ,input welcome kindly.
Howdy! We've just migrated from QuickBooks Desktop 2018 to QBO (god help me). We are sub contractors to contractors usually. I'm also having trouble explaining this to the live experts, as many are not familiar with QBD. In QBD we used to make "Estimates" (or "Contracts") and track our services and expenses against a specific contract amount. I've tried every which way to emulate this same process by categorizing each job as either a "Project" or a "Sub-Customer" beneath the parent customer. I understand we can send out a "Project Estimate" and have the customer pay only a certain percentage, but more often then not the customer usually pays at the end. If I mark the Estimate or Project Estimate as "paid" it messed up my numbers when I go to pull reports. So I want to be able to track the billable employee hours OR products/services and materials against a contract amount that has not been paid. I'm at my wits end, honestly. If this sounds familiar to you, or
I have added my bank details to QuickBooks to display my balances and show any new transactions so I can categorise them. When I update my bank accounts, I have to login each time. If I have new transactions in my accounts, it doesn’t update automatically and display them, I have to login again to grab new transactions. How do I get it to automatically display new transactions without having to login to my bank every time?
