To enable automatic mileage tracking for team members while they are clocked in, it's essential first to turn on the location settings on the web dashboard. After that, team members must also activate location tracking in the mobile app.

If they are using an iPhone, follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings, then tap the Workforce.
2. Select Location, then Always. Make sure your global location settings are also on. Go to Settings, select Privacy & Security, then Location Services.
3. Turn on Location Services. 

If they are using an Android, here's how:

1. Select Settings, Location, then select App Permissions.
2. Find QuickBooks Time, and select Allow all the time.
3. Turn on and use precise location.
