why won't the service i just added show up as an option on QB time?

You’ll have to enable the Service Items by navigating to the QuickBooks Sync Menu, Sara.

Here’s how:
 

1. In the upper-right corner of your screen, click on the QuickBooks Sync Menu.
2. Select Preferences.
3. Check the box next to Service Items.

Once done, you can import it, and the service items will be displayed in the Custom Fields.
