Why does the pdf report of the Planner show a dollar sign instead of a rand sign?

It's possible that the home currency is not set to South African Rand, Paddy.

Let's verify your home currency by going to the Account and Settings page. Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon, then Account and Settings.
2. Select the Advanced tab and click the Currency section.
3. From the Home currency drop-down, select the correct currency.
4. Hit Save.

Please know that if the Multicurrency feature is enabled, the home currency cannot be changed. That being said, you'll have to purge your data and start over again.
