Can I customize a field in journal entry screen (location or class) field to make it accept a free text ?

Thank you for visiting again the QuickBooks Community, Ahmed Let me share the information to manage your journal entry in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Currently, there is no option to customize a location or a class field to accept as free text in the Journal entry page in QBO. If you need a field for free text entry, I suggest using the "Memo" field, which allows you to input additional information or descriptions for the transaction.

For now, you can send your helpful feedback directly to our product engineers to allow this option. They may consider your suggestion and will work on its progress to include them in future product updates. To do this:

1. In your QBO account, select Settings.
2. Choose Feedback and enter your suggestions.
3. Click on Next to submit feedback.
