Do new rules which are set up in banking apply to past downloaded trans?actions as well as future ones?

I can help share some insights about bank rules in QBO, ropemckenna-gmai.

The new bank rules will only apply to the transactions that are on the For Review tab. It will not retroactively apply to your past downloaded transactions. As a workaround, you'll want to undo previously matched transactions to apply the new bank rule.

I'll show you how to do it:

1. From the Banking tab, select Banking.
2. Go to the Reviewed tab.
3. Select the transactions.
4. Click the Undo button, and then select Continue to undo the transactions.

 The steps will then moved the transactions back to the For Review tab. 

Besides, you can add the auto-add feature so that transactions that meet the conditions will be added automatically.
