How to make journel entry, record payment

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. I'll guide you on how to create a journal entry in QuickBooks Online.   

Here's how: 

1. Click + New, then select Journal entry. 
2. Select the Account. 
3. Enter the debit or credit amount for the account you've selected into the Debit or Credit columns. The debits and credits must be equal to make the entry balanced. 
4. Press Save and close.
