Question

I want to set up QB for a Marshall Islands entity using a corporate card from our U.S. parent company. QB blocks me because of my EU residence. How can I resolve this?

When I change my address to Marshal Isalnds in my profile, it doesn't help because QB looks at my phone number

Hi there, @bmammadov. Is your QuickBooks subscription based in the U.S.? If so, this is why QuickBooks Online (QBO) prevents you from setting up an entity in the Marshall Islands.

You're right that changing your profile address or phone number doesn't override the subscription's home region, which is what QBO uses for compliance and tax mapping rules.

To set up a Marshall Islands entity, you'll need to create a subscription for QBO International. This will allow you to set the Marshall Islands as the company location and enter a phone number from that region.

You should be able to sign up for a new QBO Global account for your Marshall Islands entity and pay using your company card. Just make sure you have a local mobile number prefixed with +692.
