In modern view, can reports be sorted in descending order?

Hi there, @farm-millhouse-g. Yes, you can sort a report in the Modern View into descending order. However, this option is only available for columns that are allowed to be sorted.

For columns that can be arranged into descending orders, you can see a Sort icon beside them, hover your cursor there, and right-click. Then, you'll see the Sort in Descending option. Please see the attached screenshot below, which is from the Transaction List by Customer report:
