I forgot to reconnect my bank account until today. I was missing data from August 25 to Feb 26. I have tried uploading CSVs, I get message saying success, but I am not seeing them in Quickbooks, I have huge gaps.

To fix the problem of missing CSV data in QuickBooks Self-Employed, set the filters for Type, Account, and Date to All on your Transactions page.

If the data is still missing, we can double-check your CSV formatting and size:

  • Format: Ensure your file only has exactly three columns (Date, Characterization, and Amount). Dates must be in an MM/DD/YYYY format, and amounts should not have currency symbols or commas.
  • File Size: When importing several months of data at once, the file might be too large. Try splitting the CSV into smaller batches (e.g., 2-3 months at a time) so the system can process it cleanly.

Additionally, to prevent future gaps in managing your bank connections, you can review this guide for more details: How to reconsent your bank feed connection in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Let me know if you have any other concerns.
