Let's review the details of your report so that it'll display the correct information you need.

 

To start with, review the report period and filters of your report when you pull up them up. Once reviewed, you can open each of your transactions to review the amount if they are accurate or not.

hey there. I am trying to run a VAT report. I memorized the report. each time I changed the date parameters, the report content keeps changing

Let me provide you some insights about memorizing the report.

You can memorize reports in QuickBooks if you want the same settings of the customized report to be available for future use. This way, you don't have to go through customization again. 
Once you made any changes to those reports usually changes will apply.
