Question

To segregate assest, liabilities, income and expenses according to segments/classes, and this option is not switched-on, can I still have a report to check this in QB?

You're unable to get a report to check if the class tracking feature isn't enabled in the settings of your QuickBooks Online (QBO), Dilantha. I'll discuss this further.

The ability to segregate assets, liabilities, income, and expenses by segments or classes depends entirely on having Class Tracking switched on in your account settings.

Please note also that the Class tracking feature is available only in QuickBooks Online Plus and Advanced. This feature allows you to categorise transactions by various segments of your business, such as departments, locations, or product lines. If this feature is not enabled, no data will be collected or assigned to classes, which means that no reports can be generated to show a breakdown by class.

Additionally, you can check out this article for further customisation of your report: Customise reports in QuickBooks Online.
