Let me share some insights with you about the GSTR1 summary report total figure.
The total figure showing in the GSTR1 report depends on all the transactions for the customer with GST. And each item under Description depends on what GST tax code is in the transaction.
Check if you are using Cash or Accrual basis f the report is showing an incorrect amount. It will affect the amount based on the Report period.
If you're still having the same issue, I'd recommend logging in to your QuickBooks Online account using a private browser.
Here's how:
Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
Press Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
Press Control + Option + P (Safari).
If you can run a report with the correct amount, it's time to perform troubleshooting steps to clear your browser's cache. It can be the reason for the unexpected behavior of your account.
Follow the steps below:
Open Chrome.
Click More.
Choose More Tools, then Clear browsing data.
Add a time range. Select All time to delete everything.
Check the boxes next to Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
Select Clear data.
