Hi there,

I know how important it is to have control over the reports in your QuickBooks Online account. Customizing your experience is what QBO is all about, and you can make certain changes to your reports to help filter through the information you want to see. I'd be happy to explain how to remove the "zero amount" columns on your reports.

Depending on the report you're reviewing, you may be able to filter out the 'zero amount' items so they're not displayed. For example, if you're running the Profit and Loss by Class report, you can click Customize, then review the section for Number Format. Next, check off the box next to "Except zero amount" to remove items with zero value.

If you're not able to use this setting for the particular report you're looking for, I'd suggest submitting your feedback about this to our product development team. We love hearing user suggestions. To do that, click the Gear icon > Feedback

I hope this helps. Here's more information about how to customize your reports in QuickBooks Online: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.
