Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Onlienn provides multipe reports that can be customized to your specific needs.  I'd be glad to help!

The Profit and Loss report enables you to select This month from the ▼ dropdown menu, for the Report period.  You can then select Previous year (PY), in the Compare another period field.  In addition, you can enter 'comparison' in the search field.  In addition, you can run budget reports.
