Welcome to Community! Having deleted transactions populating in your reports can be rather concerning. However, QuickBooks Online provides multiple options for accomplishing your goals. I would be glad to assist!
When running reports, you can customize the columns and set specific filters. However, let's start by clearing cache on your browser, to see if you experience the same outcome. If so, I suggest searching for duplicate transactions, so you can delete them accordingly.
Here's how to search for duplicate expenses;
1. From the left menu, open +New and select Expense
2. Click on the wheel in the top left to show the history
3. Scroll down and hit View more
4. Use the ▼ dropdown menu to select Filters
Note; You can re-order the transactions by clicking on the column heading. This will make it easier to see duplicate entries at a glance.
5. If you see a duplicate entry, click on Edit in the Actions column
6. Confirm it's a duplicate
7. Scroll to the bottom and open More, then select Delete
Important; Deleted transactions can not be undone. If you delete an item in error, you'll need to recreate it.
