QuickBooks Online is designed to help you with all your accounting needs. It's so important for you to be able to create general journal entries quickly and easily in QBO. I'd be happy to explain how to create journal entries in QuickBooks.
A general journal entry is an accounting transaction that is entered, or posted, directly to the generalledger. To create a journal entry in QBO, you don't have to go through the Help menu.
Simply click "+ New" at the top left-hand side of the page, then click Journal Entry on the far right.
This will bring you to the journal entry creation screen, where you'll enter the necessary information, then click Save. You can refer to the General Ledger by clicking the Reports tab on the left menu, then opening the General Ledger Report.
If you have any other questions, please reach out to our tech support team.
Cheers.
