How to add a % column to the P & L

The P&L report does not have a built-in option to display a % of Sales column directly. It only supports adding columns for % of Row, % of Column, % of Expense, and % of Income via the Compare feature.


 

However, you can export the P&L report to Excel and manually add a % of Sales column by calculating each line item's percentage based on total sales.

Alternatively, you could run the Sales by Product/Service Summary report, which can show you % of Sales on a per product/service basis.
