It's important that all your information is correctly entered for your books to be well-balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you create and send transactions to your customers so they know the balanced owed t your company. I can point you in the right direction for reports.

If you have QuickBooks Online Advanced, the custom fields can be used to filter, as well as be shown in reports by using the steps in this article. In other plans, these fields are used for display only on the physical copy of an invoice to display more custom information, and these fields can't be used for searching or within reports as a filter.
