Hi karen235,

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online has the features you need to accomplish your daily bookkeeping tasks with peace of mind.  You can clean up the chart of accounts so your reports contain the information you need.  I'd be happy to show you how!

When you have accounts with a zero balance, you can make them inactive.  Here's how;

1. Open your Settings ⚙ and select Chart of accounts

2. Locate the account you want to remove

3. Use the ▼ dropdown menu in the Action column and select Make inactive

For multiple accounts;

1. Select all accounts you want to hide

2. Click on the Batch actions ▼ and then Make inactive

If you need to review inactive accounts, follow these steps;

1. From your Settings ⚙, select Chart of accounts

2. Next to the printer icon, select Settings ⚙

3. Select the Include inactive checkbox

You're all set!
