Welcome to Community!  Reconciling your accounts in QuickBooks Online ensures your books are accurate and up to date.  I'd be happy to provide some insight here!

Although you may prefer to reconcile your accounts on a weekly basis, it's recommended that this is performed monthly.  Once you receive your bank statements, you'll compare the statement with the transactions entered into QuickBooks Online.  Once everything has been matched, your accounts will be balanced.  Here's a helpful guide, for your reference.
