Why and what --->How to choose a default tax code for credit card account

Setting up a default tax code on your account helps save time when creating new transactions. I'd be glad to show you how to do that using simple steps in QB Online. 

From your home screen, follow the steps below: 

1. Go to Accounting, then select Chart of Accounts.
2. Choose the chart of accounts you want to assign the same tax code to.
3. Select Batch Actions, then select Set default Tax code.
4. Select the default code, then select Apply.
