Being able to compare your reports allows you to save time compared to viewing a single period at a time. The good thing about QuickBooks is it offers the ability to compare your reports and I'll show you how.
First, you'll need to open the report in question. In this case I'll use the Profit and Loss as an example. Here's how you'd compare it:
Click Reports from the left menu
Open your Profit and Loss report.
Click Customize.
Select Rows/Columns menu.
Select Years from the drop-down arrow under the Columns field.
Click Run report.
If you're not able to run the report or the report columns aren't showing up correctly, I recommend clearing cache and cookies on your browser. Doing this helps by fixing most issues the site may be having. Here's an article which shows you how to do that: How to clear Cache and Cookies.
Give this a try and if you're still having issues, I recommend contacting our support team using this link.
