Why the report cannot show the beginning balance?

To clarify, could you confirm what report you’re trying to run upon displaying the account’s beginning balance?

Balance Sheet and Transaction Detail by Account reports can track and display beginning balances as they are tied to assets, liabilities, and equity. However, Profit and Loss Report don't show beginning balances because they focus on income and expense transactions.

If the beginning balance is still not showing when you run the Balance Sheet report and have customized it properly, it's best to clear the cache of the browser you're currently using to bypass any browser-related problems. Also, you can consider using a different supported and updated browser to avoid compatibility issues.
