1. How do I enter opening balance or comparitive balance for previous year? 2. How do I check and/or change the accounting year?

Where are you wanting to enter an opening balance, for a bank account? The accounting year is populated from month entered in the 'first month of the financial year' within the settings > select the cog/gear icon in the top right hand corner of the screen > account and settings > advanced > in the accounting section > First month of the financial year.
