Can I run a report showing a particular customers total income from start of trading, ie several years, by month but broken down into years

Welcome to the Community page, 

You can check customer balance details or the customer balance summary and see if they show what you want. When you open the report up you can then click on customise top right and put in the details you want to see such as selecting a specific customer ect. Then, once all filled out, click run report on the bottom right and it will bring up the details of the report based on what you have selected in the customise section.
