Can you delete all the accounts in the Chart of Accounts in one operation, or do you have to use journal entries?

If you go to accounting>chart of accounts> tick the top little square on the left hand side it will then tick all the little sxquasres for you> then click on batch> make inactive. 

This will remove them out of the chart of accounts for you.
