Question

I have deleted a bank account in QBO however they the transactions are now showing as a negative number in the profit and loss report . How do I delete these completely

Hello there, @mark-woodward.

 

You'll want to manually delete those transactions in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. Let me show you how.

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Select the Profit and Loss report.
  3. Click the negative amount on those transactions to open the Transaction report.
  4. Double click on the transaction type to open it.
  5. Click More from the bottom and select Delete.

I'd also recommend getting in touch with your accountant for guidance in making these changes. This way, we'll ensure the accuracy of your accounts after making deleting.
