For the report for invoices, you could use the transaction detail by account if you want it to show the nominals and then use the customise to filter the transactions type to invoices the alternative if you are looking for a report with balance as well would be a sales balance report, which would have the balance are you looking for it to be separate by the customer as well or by the product?
