I've been using QB for years. why isn't there AP and AR on the QBO balance sheet??? I hate this new quickbooks!!!!!

Are you setting the report or your general settings to CASH BASIS?  If so, AR and AP won't show on the balance sheet because the money hasn't changed hands yet.

Try switching the report to ACCRUAL and see if that helps.
