I want to run an account listing up to the year end, not today.

Are you referring to run an account listing from your Chart of Accounts? If so, I can walk you through the steps:

1. Go to the Accounting tab and select Chart of Accounts.
2. Click Run Report.
3. Select the account.
4. Click the Account history drop-down.
5. Select the Report period.
6. Click Run report.
