One of my clients would like to be able to run a daily sales report showing the total of net sales and the total VAT . I can't seem to find a way to do that ?

Welcome to the Community - thank you for your question!

You can run a Sales by Customer detail report, select Customise in the top right hand corner > Rows/Columns and tick 'Net Amount' & 'Tax Amount' - this gives a total for both columns.
