Question

Where will I find a traditional audit trail which shows the double entry QuickBooks has completed on a transaction to each nominal code? Not the Audit Log. Thank you

Hello Anne-esperehealt,

Welcome to the Community page,

When you open a transaction, if you click on the 'more' drop-down at the bottom of the page, there is transaction journal, if you select that option, this will then show the double entry for that transaction for you.

Thank you - that's helpful for individual transactions.

If I wanted to see where the transactions for a whole period e.g. a month, were, would you know if there is a way of seeing that information? Like the Audit Trail you would see in Sage50 Cloud Accounts?

Thanks, Anne

Thanks Anne, we don't currently have a feature like this in QuickBooks, it's only possible to do this at a transaction level. We'd be grateful if you could submit feedback by clicking the Cog > Feedback within QB - this way your suggestions will be sent to our developers who regularly review and implement changes based on this. 🙂
